We've rented an apartment in paris that has wirless internet. Am I wrong in assuming our Imac laptop will be compatable with european wireless routers? Internet cafes as well? thanks .......euronovice

No problem...the standards are the same, 802.11 b/g/n. Your laptop should pick up the apartment signal. The only thing you'll need is the password (WEP or WPA encryption) to log on...assuming they have that sort of protection on their wirless link :) Check with them about that before you leave. Internet cafes, same thing (if they have wireless)....they'll give you a password that you can enter at their home page when your laptop picks up the signal.
