Why no direct trains at normal times Dijon => Paris?

I am trying to book a train from Dijon to Paris on August 26. I made a note in my calendar to do this two months in advance, When I search for this on the SNCF website, there are direct trains in the morning up to 9:32 am and then the next direct train is at 5 pm?? I need a train somewhere in between. (Ideally around 1 pm.)

This is not an issue on August 25. There are lots of trains available.

On August 27, I see the message "More trains will soon be available to book for this journey. Should we let you know?" So I signed up for that just in case I'm still a day or two too early in booking.

Any ideas? I'm also having a similar issue with the Paris to Dijon route on August 23rd but that is less important to me than the return on August 26.

What day of the week is the 26th ?

Information on this page (you have to dig down a little to find it) says that between August 12 and December 13, there will be no direct trains between Dijon and Laroche-Migennes (which is the stop between Dijon and Paris) from Monday to Friday from 9:30 am to 5:30 pm.

It says they will be running buses in substitution. I don't know when they will show those as available to purchase.

August 23rd is a Friday.

So that may explain the weird schedules. Thank you! You guys are amazing.
