Which Paris Metro or RER pass should I buy that will last for 17 days?

Hi, I am travelling with my sister to Paris and staying in Bry Sur Marne for 17 days. I do not know what zone it's under and therefore I don't know which pass would cover where we are staying. And would it be okay if I just bought a metro or rer pass if they are similar? which would be cheaper for 17 days? we want to travel to versailles and giverny too.

All passes are good on both the metro and RER in the zones covered. The Bry-sur-Marne RER station is in zone 4. Versailles also is in zone 4. Your best pass will be zone 1-4 Navigo Semaine passes which are good Monday-Sunday (not any seven-day period). They cost €29.05 plus €5.00 for the rechargeable card. You and your sister will each need to buy two of them and you will need to provide small photos to attach to your cards. For a list of all your transportation ticket and pass choices with links to detailed explanations of each one, go here. Vernon, the station closest to Giverny, is well beyond the Paris transportation zones. You'll have to travel on a regional train departing from Gare Saint-Lazare. The 2nd class fare is €12.80 each way.
