Our family is driving from Sienna to Cinque Terra in July. We will have a car that we want to drop off before heading to the Cinque Terra. I understand that La Spezia is the natural spot to return the car. Does anyone know:
A. WHAT DROP OFF PLACE IN LA SPEZIA IS THE BEST IF WE ARE THEN MOVING ON TO CINQUE TERRA,

B.The best way to get to Vernazza from La Spezia?

The office on Via Fratelli Rosselli is the closest to the train station. It's not too far of a walk. Then you can catch the train to Vernazza.

Thank you so much. Have you ever visited any wineries in the Chianti region?
We are booked for 3 nights in San Gimignano ( may change it to Sienna for better convenience to wineries)...curious which wineries are awesome..( all of them, right..smile)
