I am flying Wizz air from Italy to Budapest. The airport they want me to use is referrred to as Forli/ Bologna airport. The call letters abreveation for the airport is FLR. I thought FLR was Florence airport. I am confused.

Florence is FLR. Foroli/Bologna is FRL. Bologna - Marconi Intl is BLG. FRL is about fifty miles east of Bologna, close to Cessena.

I flew out of Forli a few years back (on Ryan Air), it was quite an experience. When I first walked into the terminal, there were live chickens running around.

We flew to Lisbon out of the domestic airport in Bologna in 2004. It was very snazzy. Not a chicken in sight!!! Lots and lots of Ducati motor bikes and accompanying gear. It wasn't all that far out of the city centre.
