Today is Feb. 14. I was advised last fall to wait until Jan. or Feb. to buy airline tickets for flights to Hungary and Austria for the weeks of May 21 to June 6. Prices have not come down. I see that prices to Budapest for March are much lower now (close to $800) with prices in April and May still being up in the $1100 to $1200 range. I'm wondering if in another month prices for a May flight ought to drop, or if those are heavy tourist months so the prices will stay high. I'd appreciate the input of experienced travelers to that area.
