I know this is a much discussed topic! Airfare right now is about $1100 and I am pretty sure it will come down. How long should I wait? How far out do the fares generally come down? 3 months? 6 months? I have signed up on all the normal trackers-travelocity, fare compare, yapta etc. Thanks for any input!

If you see the fare drop a hundred or two in the next few weeks, buy it. With airlines cutting back their seating capacity so drastically since last fall, they may not have any seats left in the "traditional" 90-120 period before departure.
Also, try putting in alerts for nearby airports....some times you'll get a cheaper flight out of there, believe it or not. I know you're close to Denver, but maybe see what's available out of Cheyenne, if parking a car there won't break the bank.

Steve, I checked out that winter sale and you have to fly by March..next month!
I am still looking and so far my flight will cost 1450 ( aprox). So I'm holding tight and waiting.
