I have a few questions about wheelchair Services at Frankfurt airport. Maybe they will be hard to answer because the pandemic has changed what is regular these days. When buying my round-trip ticket to Frankfurt from JFK, I requested wheelchair service. I haven’t flown to Frankfurt in ages so I don’t know what their wheelchair service is like. I will not be traveling with a wheelchair; I require it at airports because I cannot stand on lines for more than a few minutes because of my back. I am wondering if a wheelchair will meet the plane at the jetway when I arrive at Frankfurt from JFK and stay with me through immigration and customs including the baggage carousel if necessary as well as take me to the Frankfurt airport railroad station in Terminal 1. I also wonder when departing Frankfurt for JFK, will wheelchair service be available to me near the ticket windows at terminal 2 where Delta is, take me through security and passport control to the gate, and then come back for me just before boarding begins. I will be staying at an airport hotel the night before so I can easily get to the airport for my morning flight.
Thanks.
