Coming home from Paris last week (with a change in London), my flight to Ipls from Cgo was cancelled at around 8pm. By that time many others had been cancelled. They never said, but I heard there was adverse weather somewhere that affected all airlines. I was exhausted & feeling ill with a cold. There was no help at the airport & certainly none from the airlines (AA). The baggage area had kiosks that led you thru a touch system to hotels in the area which meant that everyone was using the same information. All hotels that I called were full. There were several families with small children & babies standing around. Everyone was stressed. I'm thinking of getting a reservation at a cheap hotel next time I travel just in case. I'm not techy & don't carry a laptop. any suggestions?
