What is London Pass with Travel vs London Pass plus Oyster Card

Per the London Pass with travel Q & A, it appears this will replace the Oyster Card...does anyone know if this is the case?

Thanks!

Most tourists only travel in Zones 1& 2 with maybe an odd trip further out, so a 6 zone card is uneccesary. Also take account of the paper travelcard option and the two for one entrance ticket offers that come with it. The London Pass is rarely good value for money.

According to the London Pass website, the card with travel covers all travel in zones 1-6.

From the site, it sounds like they might just give you a separate travel card at a cost of 7 GBP per day.

The Oyster Card with either a travelcard or pay as you go is for transportation only.

You might price out the places that you want to visit to see if the London Pass is really economical for you. I think that many people don't visit enough sites to justify the cost.
