website of airfare search that travel agencies use?I

I know there is another website that is not so pretty but professionals use it, but I cannot remember the address. Does anyone else know? :)

I think you're referring to the Sabre system. If so, it's only available to travel agents who pay a lot of money for it. Many years ago there was a consumer version of it called Eaasy Sabre. It was a text based system around before the world wide web was mainstream...back in the days when Compuserve, and AOL were kings of the hill:) Eaasy Sabre eventually evolved into what is now Travelocity.com http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Eaasy_Sabre

Google wants to buy the site. The other travel websites use this as their main software for searches and are freaking out because of their fears that Google won't share upgrades and current capabilities in order to drive visitors to its own business. Google is working out a deal with the Justice Department to provide monitoring against anti-trust concerns.
