I am planning to take the train from London to Hampton Court. From where I am staying near Tower Hill station I would take the underground to Waterloo for a direct train to Hampton Court. When I go to the Transport London site to map my travel it asks if I want to got to Waterloo station or Waterloo East. Can anyone tell me which one is the direct train to Hampton Court?

Simplest and easiest way is Tower Hill to Embankment by Circle and District lines, change to Northern Line Charing Cross Branch southbound one stop to Waterloo. al-ternatively take the same tube one stop from Tower Hill to Monument, walk through the tunnels to the Waterloo and City Line (weekdays only) and go one stop to Waterloo. Or, If you are near the number 15 bus, take it to Monument, at the foot of King William street, walk up to Bank and hop on the Waterloo and City. Or walk along the Thames and enjoy the view. If you cross the wobbly bridge at St Pauls and walk along the southbank you will have great views of London.
