vueling vs easyjet Rome-Paris--preference?

should we choose vueling vs easyjet for Rome -Paris? They are the same price. Is one better than the other? What about customer service if a schedule change/problem arises (while in Italy at the airport, or in advance from the USA via phone). thanks, Elaine

Elaine, I have used both before, both are fine, if price is equal ( with all in, checked luggage etc) then really the only difference is on Easyjet when they say "one carry on " they mean ONE, not one plus your handbag, so I squish my purse up and put in my carry on. On Vueling you are allowed one purse and one carry on.
Both are no frills. Both got me there on time. Both got my bags there. This past summer I just priced out my routes and chose the cheaper one for each leg, one on Vueling( which I have used before) and one on Easyjet. I haven't looked, but do both use same airports? Customer service? ER , what is that, lol its an hour an half flight, you sit down, they fly , you land , you get off, its a bus in the air. You buy a pop or whatever from the cart in the aisle. Read both websites carefully so you understand the luggage restrictions .

elaine, I normally check EasyJet first, as it's my "preferred" budget airline in Europe. They always seem to offer good service, but they DO have a strict limit of ONE carry-on item only, of the approved size. I believe both airlines use FCO and ORY on that route, so transportation will be the same. You may want to have a look at the excellent Paris By Train website for information on transport from ORY. I've never flown with Vueling, but would have no hesitation in doing so. Whichever airline you choose, be sure to read their Terms & Conditions carefully, especially related to luggage weights. If you think your checked luggage might be over the allowable limit, it's best to pay the higher charges at the time of booking. If they find it overweight when you check-in, the cost is much higher. Of course with any budget airline, those booking early get the best price. They typically use a "sliding scale", so the prices increase as the flight fills up. Happy travels!
