Trying to book a future Valencia-Rome flight on Vueling on the internet, but can't get past request for phone number. Extremely frustrating! Have filled in succesfully all other requests, day, month, passenger info, address, luggage, etc. But can't proceed past the phone number request. Tried everything: my (Canadian) home number, my cell number, the number of the hostal we're using in Valencia, nothing gets me through to the payment stage. Is there a trick to get there? Can anyone who's booked Vueling before explain, or help? Thank you in advance!

Have you tried it with no spaces or dashes and with the country code? For example, if my number were 703-555-1234, I would probably try +17035551234 or just 17035551234.

Guy, don't give up,, I have booked with them 3 times, twice for this coming summer. I can't remember the trick , but its either leaving out the first zero( since our country code is 01) or adding another one, or eliminating it altogether,, just keep fiddling. Also , don't leave spaces . Good luck, its a decent airline in most respects! PS Even if you think you may try carry on only, its wise to book ahead one piece of luggage its twice as expensive to have to pay to check it at the airport if they decide your bag is like 1/2 inch too big .. and if its a few ozs too heavy( although my hubby witness a young bloke opening his slightly overweight bag and simply putting on more clothes!) .

Thanks, Laura and Pat. The trick of joining all my home phone's 10 numbers with no spacing eventually worked, although all Spanish phone numbers have 9 digits. (We total 10 digits in North America.) I'm now booked, so thanks again!
