Are there luggage hassles on this airline? Any tips or advice about using this provider? Thanks, Joolz
while Easyjet is very picky about that one piece, and bags need to fit in the sizer, I note with interest that Veuling uses their cabin luggage sizer but also limits the cabin luggage to 10kg where Easyjet only require you to be able to put it in the overhead locker unassisted.
Not sure what "trave" is or means, but I have used Vueling airline twice, no hassles , read the website carefully. Yes, as most intereuropeon airlines they are strict with luggage, so the sizes the say are allowed are the sizes allowed, not bigger, but they do allow you to take one carry on AND a purse OR camera bag, which is different then Easyjet ( which I have also used and liked) which states ONE carry on, and they mean one, not one plus purse( I just shoved my purse into my carry on. I always pre purchase the checked luggage option , its much cheaper then arriving at airport and being told bag is too big and you have to check it, this is explained on website. The flights are generally short in Europe so the lack of free meal service doesn't bother me at all. I have used Vueling for Paris-Rome, and Nice- Barcelona flights. PS purchasing tickets far ahead of time is the way to go, the last minute tickets always cost more.
Basic tip: Read the Vueling home page very carefully. It spells out all its conditions and charges plain and clear. Next step: Believe what you read. When it says ONE bag in the cabin, it means ONE: Not a rolling suitcase plus your purse plus your computer. Fair enough, since the several flights I've take have been no-frills and no-surprise, delivering value for money.
Southam, yes I agree read CAREFULLY, I just went on Vuelings website to see if they had changed there purse plus carry on rule since my flight last summer. They have not. You are still allowed a small additional item, it lists camera bag, small briefcase, or purse.
