Vueling air booking problem

Patti,,I just booked with them( Nice to Barcelona) and I don't use a cell travelling either and don't recall needing one to book.. if it asks for a ph number I would have just put my home one down. I only booked like two weeks ago, but i have been booking hotels, airfares( one Vueling and one Easyjet) and train tickets galore so don't recall details, but I had no problem.. i will go back and look on site to see if I can figure it out.

Patti i just went on Vueling and looking through booking form, I did in fact just enter my home phone number and no cell. Not clear why you are having a problem. when i entered my home phone number i recall having to mess about a bit, can't remember if site wanted spaces or not, or if I had to do 01 or just a 1 for my country code( I think US is one too isn't it) ,, just experiement a bit, and as I said never mind the cell, i don't travel with mine either and do just fine.

Thanks for the info. and encouragement! I have put in both cell and home phone but the site acts as if it is not correct. I will work on it during the day rather than late at night when it's the middle of the night there. Sometimes websites do maintenance and things don't work as well. Patti

It is probably a formatting problem. You need to figure out how to enter it, with or without spaces. Do not include the +1 international code. Or try just using the number of your hotel in Spain. Any hotel. They are not going to call.

I would say "duh" and slap my forehead. It was easy by just entering my phone (no 1) 10 numbers with no spaces or dashes. Patti
