Virgin Atlantic question

I've been looking over fares for a proposed trip to England in late May 2023. What I'm hoping to do is fly Upper Class on an overnight flight to Heathrow, and fly Premium Economy on the way back to the US. Right now, the prices look pretty good.
But before I book, I am curious about their current refund policy. Perhaps I have a case of TL;DR but I'm finding it difficult to understand just WHAT is their refund policy.
In the not-to-distant-pandemic-past, they had a huge section on their website about how you could cancel for any reason and as long as you rebooked by a certain date, your ticket would be good.
That seems to be a thing of the past. I'm wondering if it is, in sight of the CDC changing their guidelines, countries dropping the entry-testing requirements, etc.
Can someone please help me out?

EDIT: I've discovered that several traveler's insurance plans on Squaremouth provide insurance in case one comes down with Covid. That might be one explanation as to why the airlines have changed their policies.

I generally book my Virgin Atlantic flights through Delta. Same flights just a delta codeshare. The last I checked Delta had no change/cancellation fees. And any credit you received was valid through 2023. Might be different for basic economy though.

Virgin Atlantic does not offer first class, so if that is important you should probably look at British Airways instead.

@Badger - "Upper Class" is what Virgin Atlantic calls their business class.

Delta is still allowing you to cancel and get a credit without penalty. You do have to rebook. Since you are considering VIrgin you can book via Delta.

https://www.delta.com/us/en/change-cancel/cancel-flight

Cancellation fees are not applicable for the following tickets:

Delta tickets Main Cabin and above for travel within the U.S., Puerto Rico and USVI
Delta tickets Main Cabin and above for travel originating from North America to anywhere in the world (including flights operated by joint venture and codeshare partners)
Delta tickets Main Cabin and above for travel between the Caribbean and the U.S. or Mexico

Booked VA Premium via Expredia which included 3 nights in London which was cheaper than airfare alone via VA.
