WE will be in Brugge on Wednesday August 29th and would like to obtain a 1 day tour of the Vimy area.
Have been unsuccesful in obtaing a car for the day and now intersted in arrangements using public transport.

From the Belgian side, the fastest train journey is 3 hours, with three train changes. I'm not aware of any bus (coach) service that makes that run. Without a car, you may be out of luck doing it in a day. Have you tried booking a car out of Ostend (Oostende) which is only 15 minutes by train from Bruges.....several trains an hour.
