My husband and I are traveling from Vienna to Venice, but in checking the train schedules, the overnite train appears to be a non-stop/no changes. However, the day trains have you change to a bus for a portion of the journey. We were told that the reason for a bus is that a portion of the rail-track is being renovated. Does anybody know then why the overnite train doesn't show any changes? Many thanks!
