my wife and I will be traveling from Vienna to Salzburg on April 3rd. The fair is approx. 45Euros per person. I was wondering if there are any cheaper ways (besides the lander tickets) to get there? The lander tickets take about 6 hours with multiple changes and we would really like to have the fastest possible journey between the two cities. Can you use a sparscheine ticket between these cities? thanks in advance

The Bayern (Laender) ticket is good for travel from a border city like Salzburg to points in Bavaria but not for travel solely within Austria. The SparSchiene ticket is good for travel between Austria and neighboring countries but not for travel solely within Austria.
