Hello, I have been trying to see what the quickest way (besides flying) is from Vienna, Austria to Lake Como, Italy. Probably train, but what is the quickest route? And is it a pretty route to look at from the train? (I would think so..) Any help would be appreciated! :) Thank you!

You can look up the route on the Dbahn.de website. I did a quick look for you. There's a route with only one change in Venice, it's 14hr 14 min. that's the shortest one listed. Personally, that is a really long time on a train, even a sleeper. The longest we've done was 9 hrs by train. 5 hours was about our limit for enjoyment, then it was really torturous after that.
