Hello!
I arrive in Vienna April 2, and want to go to Melk, Hallstatt, Salzburg and fly out of Munich April 15.
From Melk----should I try to go to Hallstatt for 1-2 days to see the village and a salt mine, OR, go from Melk to Salzburg and make day-trips to Hallstatt (and maybe Innsbruck), before touring Munich?
Any advice on the Trains and order is apprecitated.

There are 2 SaltMines close to Salzburg - we've been to Berchtesgaden and LOVED it. 2 slides, a train, a boat ride - all excellent.
Eagles Nest is also a fantastic trip from Salzburg.
I highly recommend a day trip to Dachau Concentration Camp from Munich.
