Venice water taxi

Can someone who recently visited Venice tell me the best routes from St. Lucia train station to St. Marks and the current 12-hour ticket price? My trip notes from last time said fastest routes leaving were 41 or 51 and 42 or 52 back with 1 being Grand Canal slowboat. Also, current price for checked luggage at train station (not lockers).

From St. Lucia it's number 1 or number 82 OR a water taxi - pricy !!
As for the baggage consignment - 1st floor - $3.80 for the 1st 5 hours - .60 for each additional hour up to 12. .20 after that. In euros , of course. per bag.

Actually, the number of the fast Grand Canal vaporetto line changed some time ago. It is no longer the 82. It is now the number 2. It takes 15 - 20 minutes to go from the train station (Ferrovia) to San Marco.

The slow boat from the train station is still the number 1. It takes about half an hour to get to San Marco because it stops at most stops along the Grand Canal.

A 12 hour pass costs 16 Euro. The 24 pass is 18 Euro and then a 48 hour pass is 28 Euro and so on. The marginal cost of a pass goes down dramatically the longer the period purchased. A 7 day card is 50 Euro.

The current price for checking luggage at the train station begins at 4 Euro for 5 hours.
