Venice Water Bus and Water Taxi

We will be in Venice in early October. Do the water buses and water taxis have an inside section and an outside section for passengers? Will we be in the open air with the wind in our faces? It's a health issue for one of us.

Vaporetto (water buses) have both inside and outside sections. Inside has seating, outside covered section is standing only. Never been on a water taxi but have seen them, they too have a cabin and also outside seating. I understand they are very pricey, which is why I have not used one!

Water taxis (which are very expensive) only carry about 8 passengers maximum, have open tops with covers, so you can open them and stand and feel the wind in your hair, or keep closed and be seated comfortably inside.

Water buses (vaporettos), which hold up to 60-70 or more people seated inside, with a few seats outside on the stern if you like the outdoors and better views. A few of the older ones have a few seats outside on the bow.
