Hi all, We need to travel from Venice to Porec on Sunday June 19. I cannot find a ferry schedule that does that route on Sundays in June. I know you can take a bus. Has anyone done this? Is it an OK trip via bus and if you remember, how long was it? Thanks, Lisa

I've done it other way around - Rovinj (via Porec) to Venice. I used the Venezia Lines catamaran and it worked very well. Schedules at www.venezialines.com show that there's a catamaran to Porec that departs late Saturday afternoon (June 18), but none on Sunday (June 19). Atlas Travel also operates a catamaran between Porec and Venice, although it's designed primarily for day trippers from Croatia. You would need to contact them to determine whether they have service that day. Their website is www.atlas-croatia.com. If you decide to go with a catamaran, I'd suggest buying you tickets as soon as possible. I bought mine through the Venezia Lines website with no problems. Received a voucher that I then exchanged for my tickets the day before depature.
