Disembarking cruise at Venice. Staying at Quarto. 1. Is there a direct train from Venice to Quarto. Moving on to Milan two days later. 2. Are there just as many choices for Milan trains from Mestre. Grazie tanti.

Hi Lou. See web site trenitalia.com for Italy train schedules and fares. To see all trains and fares, use a date in the next seven days. To purchase discount tix in advance for a discount (but locked in to a date and time), use the actual date up to several months in advance for the lowest fares. Use Italian spelling of towns (e.g. Venezia). Enjoy your trip!

Thanks for the info. On the route and fare page, there is a fare called MINI. Can you tell me what that means?

Lou - mini is the discount fare if you buy today online. this price for each train will increase as seats are sold. you would then be locked in to that date and time. if you know your schedule, this can be a big savings. base fare is what you will pay if you wait til last minute and buy in Italy.
