Are train reservations necessary from Milan to Venice on Carnevale weekend? Are reservations necessary leaving Venice for LaSpezia necessary on last day of Carnevale?
If so, how do I do this, as trenitalia does not take US credit cards?

You can make reservation at the station when you buy your tickets.
