I need help asap - is there a train - overnite from venice to monte carlo - and do you know price help leaving in 3 days to either one but I want to get both in.

anna, There are quite a number of trains on the Venice - Monaco/Monte Carlo route. However, I'd suggest travelling during the day rather than overnight, as most of the night trains have numerous changes and are considerably longer. One of the overnight trains has a layover in Genova from 00:30 to 05:22 so that wouldn't be a pleasant trip! If I were making that trip, I'd choose a train departing Venezia Santa Lucia at 06:20, arriving Monaco / Monte Carlo at 14:41 (time 7H:21M, 2 changes at Milano and Ventimiglia, two legs have compulsory reservations). I wasn't able to determine the price for the entire journey, however from Venice to Ventimiglia the price is €59. From Ventimiglia to Monaco / Monte Carlo won't add too much to that.
