Bought seat reservations from RailEurope, the tickets sent are from Trenitalia, which is good. I found that I can search for my Reservations then the results allow me to Add to Apple Wallet. Works great for my ticket, but my wife's reservation does not get up in her wallet, it puts mine in her wallet. Even though I select hers, which has a different CP number (6 digits, last number is 1 more than mine) while in the app on her phone and select her rez, to "add it to her wallet, only mine goes in there. Which I am fairly sure will prevent her from sitting in that train.
Is there a trick?
This will not prevent her from sitting in that train. You don't need a ticket for that, you only need to be able to find the entrance.
At the entrance the the platform there may, or may not, be someone glancing at your phone to determine that you are indeed supposed to be there. Then on the train nobody will care if you sit in the seat that is on your wife's phone and vv.
When I travelled in Italy I just used the Trenitalia app, and had the tickets in there. And then I showed them when we entered the platform area, and then later again on the train.
What may be happening is that you believe you have two tickets, but you in fact have one ticket good for two persons, and linked to your name. Different railways do this differently, but for example I am currently on my way with my wife and here name isn't even on the ticket. Railways don't care who travelled, they only care that people who travel have paid. So don't overthink this. You have tikcets for you and your wife, and a way to show them, so you are fine.
Could you just take a screen shot photo of her reservation?
Do you have the Trenitalia app? I’m wondering if you could pull up the reservation that way.
A lot of "other" things can surely be done. But I am wanting them in Apple Wallet where they really should be, and the Trenitalia App will do it. Works great for my ticket(s), for my wife, it only adds my ticket(s) to her wallet, my guess there is a bug....
I have created a support ticket with Trenitalia, I was told they will get back to me in ~30 days... maybe..
Three of us were recently traveling via train in Italy - I was the ticket purchaser and had all three of us configured as passengers in my Trenitalia account. I had all the tickets/reservations on my phone, which was all the conductors cared about - as well as the turnstiles at Termini.
But I am wanting them in Apple Wallet where they really should be
Well, you are not really entitled to have the tickets whichever way you want. Some railways still require you to print them out. Be happy that Trenitalia has a decent app :-)
And the app is really all your need. Don't overthink this. This is mass transit.
It guess its too bad they have an add that does it for me but not the wife.. I guess I cannot even have it their way..
Well, what is actually the problem that you are trying to solve here? You have your tickets. You have a way to show them. So you can travel.
But have a look again. Sometimes the fake boarding passes that get added to your iPhone Wallet when you add a train ticket have multiple pages. So you swipe left to see the next ticket. So it is possible that both your tickets are now on both your phones...

That would be nice, but there is no swapping right or left inside Apple Wallet. At least everything I have ever had in my wallet doesn't have that feature. And my tickets in my wallet cannot be swiped.
There is a Trenitalia FAQ about adding their train tickets to apple wallet. I assume that is what you tried already but just in case you didn't see their instructions, here is the link.

Yes, as mentioned in the OP, my ticket goes into my Apple Wallet just fine. But NOT into my wife's wallet.
