Using trains in Italy

I purchased my tickets from Pisa to Vernazza online. When I booked the departure station was the central station. The tickets say Pisa S. Rossore station. Can I go to Pisa Central or do I board at Pisa S. Rossore? I am confused.

Shelly, you can board at Pisa Centrale. The train goes from there to Pisa S. Rossore in 5 minutes, then continues on. The price of the ticket is the same whether you board at Centrale or Pisa S. Rossore (5,80 euro).

That the price is the same doesn't mean you can board with the wrong ticket! Buy another local Pisa C. to Pisa S. Rossore ticket. It will cost around € 1.

I don't think it is the wrong ticket. The screen said Pisa Centrale for her ticket purchase. That screen also shows Pisa S. Rossore (in red). This is a regional train, so be sure and stamp your ticket before boarding the train.
