Using RER from CDG Terminal 1

Hello all. I'm flying US Airways into CDG and it appears, am going to be arriving in terminal 1. Each description I've read about getting to central Paris from CDG says something different. I just want to know, from Terminal 1 at CDG...... Can I walk to the RER departure point?, Do I take a shuttle bus and if so is it easy to recognize?, and finally, is that actually the easiest/least expensive way to get to Gare du Nord from CDG? Help??????

Yes, US Airways uses Terminal 1.

There are two RER stations at CDG: CDG 1 and CDG 2 TGV. CDG 1 is by Terminal 3. Take the free CDGVAL driverless shuttle train from Terminal 1 to Terminal 3. See the map here.

Yes, the RER B is the fastest and best way to get from CDG to Gare du Nord. The fare is 8.70 EUR. For detaied instructions, including photos, see the Paris by Train site.

Tim,

Thank you very much. This was the clearest instruction that I've found by far. I appreciate it.
