Using Bavaria Länder ticket at 8:50am..

I plan to travel from Burghausen to Füssen and then back to Münich on the same day (Friday) using the Länder ticket.

As per the Dbahn website, the train starting at 7:44am from Burghausen reaches Füssen at around 1 pm, which is perfect for me. But, i can't use the Länder ticket. Can i use it from Mühldorf since there is a change of train at 8:50am?? Are they very strict about the 9am starting deadline?

I wouldn't know the answer to that because I have never tried to cheat the system, but I would not recommend trying it. Usually, you can supplement the Bayern-Ticket by buying a standard ticket to the first stop after 9 AM, but I see this train goes non-stop from Mühldorf to Munich.

Yea, no stops after Mühldorf till Munich. I wanted to save an hour or so. Hopefully, the train from Mühldorf will be late by 10 mins :p or i have to take the next train.
