Ananya, "I understand our itenerary is slightly ambitious." That's the understatement of the week!!! To begin with, it appears that you arrive in Paris on 19 May at 16:25. Is that correct? For the trip into Paris from the airport, you have several options: > RER & Metro > Air France Bus > Roissy Bus You might find it helpful to check This Website for detailed information. For the trip to Tours, you'll likely have to return to either Paris Austerlitz or Montparnasse stations. There are some direct trains available, and some with one change. Use the Deutsches Bahn website to research rail trips. The trip from Tours to Goult is a bit challenging. It appears that you'll have to take a train from Tours to Cavaillon (possible 1-3 changes), and then Bus from there to Goult. The train journey will be 6 - 7.5 hours, depending on which train you choose. I haven't checked the distance from Cavaillon to Goult, so don't know if Taxi would be an option? For the trip from Goult to Nice, take the Bus back to the station in Cavaillon and then train to Nice Ville. The train journey will be about 4 - 4.5 hours, with 1-3 changes. Note that your destination station will be Nice Ville. It appears that you have to return to Paris for a flight to Istanbul? For the trip from Nice to Paris, you could either use TGV (reservations compulsory) or budget air. Using a budget airline may not be cost effective at this late date, as the cheapest seats will likely be sold-out. You might take a few minutes when you arrive in Paris to visit an SNCF Boutique to purchase your rail tickets. There are at least four locations in central Paris. Happy travels!

Makes no sense at all. And probably cannot be done because of distances and travel times between locations. See below for a discussion of a similar impossible trip. http://www.ricksteves.com/graffiti/helpline/index.cfm/rurl/topic/84983/first-time-in-europe--does-this-itinerary-work.html While the cities are different the comment apply equally to your proposed trip. You have made no provision for travel/relocation time.

Ananya, with less than 2 weeks (12 days on the ground), I'd suggest spending all of them in France. A whirlwind trip can be fun but I doubt that you would be able to remember any of it with this kind of itinerary. Without actually figuring out the travel times, it is probably physically impossible. Is this trip for 2012 or 2013?

"Please help with how to go from one place to another!!" Invent a teleporter. That's the only way this trip would ever be remotely feasible.

ananaya,, first I wonder if you are just joking, this plan is not believable.
You have allowed one day ( May24th) to do an entire region of a country,, you must understand how ridiculus that sounds.

Ananya, there's really no way you can do this trip in the time allowed. Your visit to Versailles will take most of the day. Your train trip to Dordogne will take 6hrs. Dordogne to Goult will take 11hrs. Your journey from Provence/Cote d'Azur to Interlaken and Lucerne will take 10hrs. Zurich to Amsterdam is another 10hrs. Overall, you will easily spend 3 of your 12 days in a train.

See the plan below and tell us if its ok Paris - Versailles (1 hour journey) - tour done by lunch Versailles - Tours (2.5 hours) - Which would be best train? We reach Tours by evening Then assuming we chuck Dordogne as I understand thats best done by car Tours - Goult (8 hours) - Which would be best train? The journey seems too long!! Goult - Nice (3 hours) - Which would be best train?

Time for the message board courtesy 101 class ALL CAPS IS SHOUTING and should be avoided And URGENT is not the title for every post. It probably isn't helping your response rate Why are you making that detour to Switzerland and Amsterdam? And do you have that transport booked As to the other request, I suggest the SNF website. The German site you mention in your other post is really not a booking engine, but gives you info on what trains to take. You then generally book on the home country's train booking engine.
