United makes their schedule change rules far more passenger-unfriendly

You now must have your scheduled flight delayed for more than 25 hours (no typo) in order to get a full refund for the ticket rather than credit toward future travel. The old change rule allowed a full refund after a 2 hour schedule change.

Sounds like bookings ( and therefore cash flow) are down and they are unwilling to give back cash if they can avoid it.

Now the question is will the other airlines follow suit or will UAL have to rollback their policy if no one else does it and puts them at a competitive disadvantage.
