What's the best way to see sights like Stonehenge and the Roman baths? Bus tours?

By the way I will be in London in May w/5 friends & we are doing a day trip w/Astral Tours to Bath, Stonehenge & Castle Combe. I picked this tour co. based on reviews on the TripAdvisor - London Forum.

There are several good companies. You can pick up borchures in most hotel lobbies or at the Tourist Infomration centers. My husband and I have uses Frames-Rickards and Golden Tours in the past. Both of about equal quality. They offer whole and 1/2 day trips out of London to various locations. Prices are about equal, too.

We've used Frames-Rickards and have been happy with them. And they don't have the usual "opportunity for shopping" stop that so many tour companies "provide". It's all sightseeing. They provide numerous, conveniently located pickup points. About the only downside is that they don't drop you off at your pickup point. But they do make sure they drop you off near a Tube station in London.
