United claims that there are round-trip tickets available on CyberMonday to Europe and Asia for 30K or 36K miles.
Well, I've tried every airport in southern Europe I can think of, starting in SFO, and none are any less than 30K one-way. That's a 'saver award' too; the regular costs are higher.
Anyone have any luck with this sale? Maybe there wasn't anything out of SFO?
I haven't checked, but the busy folks over on FlyerTalk have...
I went and looked just now. Saw lots of 30K awards to Frankfurt for random dates picked. Also saw lots of flights for 17.5K to Narita, Tokyo. All regular economy. All Round Trips.
But, these all state "Only available to United Platinum level or higher Frequent Flyers".

look nobody had any luck; That CyberMonday is bs hype just like Travel Tuesday. You can get better fares by signing up with each airline. They put flights on sale by season and you will get an email
i got 40K today on American for a late morning flight to LAX. one stop in Dallas for 1:45 minutes. We have Global so we should be ok if flight is on time.
