UK resident: LIverpool Lime to Aldgate Station

Hi,
My daughter's friend lives in Liverpool what is the best way to get her to meet us at the Aldgate Station. I went on Trainline but can only get her to Euston not sure how to get her the rest of the way. She 18 but never been out of liverpool. This is for Oct Thanks!

From the Euston National Rail station, walk to the Euston Square tube station and take the Metropolitan line. They'll need an Oyster card or a contactless bank card for the tube. Note that Euston Square is a separate tube station from the Euston Tube station which is located in the same facility as the Euston National Rail station.

You'll want to use the TFL web site to plan trips within London https://tfl.gov.uk/

And use the National Rail web site, not trainline to plan inter city trips inside the UK http://www.nationalrail.co.uk/

Take the tube!
As Dale says, easy to walk out the front of the station and look for the entrance to Euston Square station, then direct to Aldgate. Going from Euston tube station requires a change.
Make sure not to confuse Aldgate with Aldgate East, two different stations, and both have trains from Euston Square. Also agree some specific point in the station to meet, like at the main entrance.
If she has a contactless debit card (very likely), then she can use that on the ticket barriers,

I am surprised you are asking this, surely your friend or her daughter knows people who travel to London from Liverpool.

You didn't say which day of the week in October.

The plan above is the default, but if it is a weekend check carefully. The north side of the Circle line and its nearly weekly closures for CrossRail, HS2 or whatever other excuse they dream up also affect the Metropolitan and Hammersmith and City with which they share tracks. If so another plan will need devising.

If you know the date you can check the planning calendar.
