UK fares

So what am I doing wrong? I go to Kayak or Travelocity, see a fare and then go to the airline website where fares are always the cost one way of the entire round trip on the travel sites. We'd really like to fly in to Edinburgh and out of London but it seems like it doubles the price.

You are not using the search engine properly. You may have to select Advance Search or something like that and then the multi-cities option. You have to list all three cities as part of one schedule.
