Hello,
Just wondering about the size of taxis in Germany, particularly TXL. We are 4 adults each with a checked bag. This may seem like a silly question but I just wondered if they offer van taxis or will we have to split into 2. Normally we would take public transportation but our hotel is 50 minutes away with a few changes.

Rode in a taxi from Prenzlauer Berg to TXL in July 2018. We were a group of four adults; each had a suitcase we used as carry-on going to Europe and checked on the way home, plus a personal item for each. The taxi was a Mercedes station wagon; we had ample room for our luggage. Perhaps you (or a hotel employee) could share your needs for luggage space when arranging for the taxi.

We have van taxis available (7-seaters) in Berlin. Ask the taxi line coordinator for a 7-seater. From your hotel the reception shall order one.
