This is not a question, but a recommendation:
I just wanted to let everyone know about two services that we used in Rome. The first we have used on two trips to Rome. It is Andrea Amore Taxi and Limousines. Andrea is wonderful. He is always on time, very professional and personable. He has a wonderful sense of humor and we wouldn’t use anyone else for our transportation needs. Our first time in Rome we only has 1 full day. One of Andrea’s drivers picked us up at the airport and took us to our hotel. Andrea himself picked us up at our hotel the next morning and took us to all the sites. He knew where to drop us off and pick us up so we could make the most of the day we had in Rome. I wouldn’t trust our transportation/tour needs to anyone else! The other is a tour company that I found through Rick Steve’s tour book and reviews online. It is Through Eternity Tours. We booked a 2 day private tour and had the most incredible time! Our tour guide was Marle’ and I cannot say enough about her. We all fell in love with her. Her knowledge is amazing. She is funny, smart, energetic, and made our time in Rome the best trip ever. She gave us recommendations on places to go and restaurants to eat at. The restaurants were not your typical touristy places, but wonderful out of the way places that you could truly experience the local flavor. We cannot wait to go back to Rome and have her as our guide.
