Am i correct that they do not offer two country Eurailpasses.? There used to be an Italy/Switzerland I think and now I’m not seeing it. You would need to buy a global pass?
Yes. Of course, maybe a rail pass is not the right answer.
Or just buy separate passes, if a pass is even the best option. Often it is not.
Be sure and check out seat61.com before you buy any rail passes. Passes have limited seats available and you can usually do better on price and convenience. Good luck.
I’m thinking of getting some sort of pass for Switzerland (if it’s cheaper than individual tickets which it sounds like it might). But paying for individual train tickets in Italy until we get to tuscany where we will probably rent a car. We have driven in Italy before.
Trying to figure out the Swiss train passes is not easy and there are so many kinds. We will spend almost all of our time in BO. But I will post something for Switzerland in that forum.
