Turkish Air Lines

I just spotted a good fare from Turkish Airlines. Unfortunately, I don't know that they've been to Naples, Italy long (probably me), but there would be a layover in Istanbul. Does anyone have any experience with this scenario? I'll be solo and senior.
Thanks

Rest assured that many people in this office have flown Turkish Airlines and enjoyed it. Is your question about how long they have served Naples airport or what the flight schedules are?

I have used Turkish Air and it was great. I did not use them from the US, but from Istanbul to Athens and back.
They were on time, had food and it was as comfortable as most others:)

Hi Sarah! I used this airline last February and we were very happy with them. Great service and very good food. We saw a good deal too , traveling LA- IST-PARIS ... We knew it was crazy going all the way to Istambul and then back to Paris (2:30 hrs layover in IST) but we were very happy with everything else so, we took it! On the way back we had a 20 hrs layover, we used them to briefly (very briefly) stroll around beautiful Istambul. Now I know where I want to go on my next vacation!
It can be tiring, but I would do it again without hesitating.
Air tickets to Europe can be really expensive, and being a budget traveler, I don't mind these stranges routes! actually I enjoyed the opportunity to explore this wonderful city!

The only problems with using Turkish Air, as stated in the replies above, is that it takes longer because it requires backtracking, and that some of the layovers can be very long. But it's a very nice airline (far nicer than US airlines on trans-Atlantic routes).
