Turkey buses: Selcuk to Izmir

I've read many places in books and online that buses are frequent between the two cities of Selcuk and Izmir, which is great because I would prefer to spend my time in a place like Selcuk, then take an early morning bus to Izmir to catch the 9:30 train to Bandirma.

The problem I am having is I cannot find anywhere as to what time the buses actually go between the cities. Basing my plans on information as vague as "every 15 minutes" or "every 40 minutes" is a bit weary, so, if possible, I was looking for some specific times, e.g. the buses depart every 15 minutes, 24 hours a day, or the bus begins to run at 6am to 10pm. Something like that would help soooo much.

What you face is the key fact of travel - sometimes you will not have perfect information. In these situations I would just go with the flow - if I know something is leaving every 15 minutes I would not worry too much unless it is very early in the morning or late at night.

Sorry I can't be of much help but I think you may be worrying too much. You could also try out some other websites like tripadvisor or lonely planet's thorn tree if you must have this info.
