Trying to travel by train from Venice to Cinque Terre

I have found a lot of contradicting information about train travel from Venice to Cinque Terre. The German DB Bahn site seems to work for all searches except this one. The Italian train site has been pretty frustrating. Can anyone help me to arrange train travel on Sunday, July 12th from Venice to Cinque Terre? I'd like to travel early if possible. Thanks in advance for your help.

Trenitalia, not DB, is the source of your problem. New train timetables will go into effect throughout Europe on 14 June and Trenitalia hasn't finished uploading theirs on their Web site. DB is at the mercy of Trenitalia as to when they can show the timetables. Enter a dummy departure date between today and 13 June on the DB site. Enter Venezia Santa Lucia as your departure point and the Cinque Terre town of your choice as your arrival point. The timetables you get should be virtually identical to the new ones.

You don't say where you will be traveling to in the CT. There are five towns and some get more trains stopping at their station than others. Tim is correct about the pea brains at Trenitalia (my opinion not Tim's). They do this to travelers twice a year.

CLICK HERE to see the morning train schedule form Venice to Monterosso. If you want any of the other 4 towns, there is no guarantee that any particular run will stop at the other 4. For example, the first run on the schedule goes from La Spezia Centrale to Monterosso. It does not stop at the other 4 towns. Message back with the town you will be traveling to and we can link a more correct schedule.
