I have been trying to buy a plane ticket from the Vueling site and can't seem to get the payment to go through. (I need 3 tickets to fly Barcelona to Turin at the end of August. On this site, others recommended I fly with Vueling from Barcelona to Turin - I just can't seem the but the darn tickets.) On the Vueling site, I can my flight and enter our identifying info. Then it takes my cc info and I go through the Verified by Visa...and that's when the process falls apart. The site sends me back to the page to enter on cc info. I never get to a "here's your "booking number" page. When I try another site - eg Sky scanner - they put me through to the same place at Vueling and once again, it won't go through. So, I have been "verfied by Visa" numerous times with no ticket to show for it. (Vueling has not charged my Visa) I have emailed Vueling - no response and called the 1-800 number that's supposed to work from Canada (it doesn't). Elsewhere online someone suggested to contact Vueling via Facebook (it wouldn't let me post). Ideas? How have others booked their Vueling tickets? Jody

Thoughts - and sorry years since I used Vueling a couple of times - Try other browsers. Have you ever purchased on-line using VforV before? If this is a first purchase I see occasionally on forums this as a problem. Try another debit or credit card.

Verified by Visa is a security program you have to sign up for. Some Spanish website require it for North American credit cards, but not European ones. When the Verified by Visa screen appears, it is looking to see if you are registered with the program. If you are, it will ask for your password. If you are not, it kicks you back to the credit card page to enter a different one. The Spanish train system Renfe does this too.

Hi - The challenge for me is that I am registered in Verified by Visa and I put in my V by V info. It shows online in my V by V info/account that I my purchase had been verified (3x actually). So, after i am verified, it then kicks me back. So, somehow Vueling isn't recognizing this. I'll try another cc as suggested above. Thx Jody
