I am interning in Prague this summer, however, I am going over early to do some travel with a friend. I was hoping to receive some advice on the cheapest approach (As far as travel) and any recommendations on places to visit while on my trip. What my rough plan is: 1.Fly into Prague around June 20, 2011 (Flexible with dates a day or two) I have found tickets for around $1,200 2. Spend a few days in the city (I have a place to stay) 3. I am then going to visit a friend who is studying abroad in Luasanne, Switzerland. Leaving June 22-23 and returning July 1-3 (I guess the best airport to fly into is Geneva? I was able to find a round trip flight for about $75) 4. Then we need to get from Geneva to Lausanne. 5. After a few days in lausanne we plan on visiting Paris for a few days.
6. Then we will head back to Geneva and Catch our flight back to Prague. I was thinking perhaps buying a regional pass for Switzerland and France? Any help/advice/suggestions I can receive would be greatly appreciated.
It looks like you are planning to go Geneva to (1)
Lausanne to (2) Paris to (3) Geneva. I assume you are a "youth", under 25. A Youth France-Switzerland pass comes only in for four days for $295 (€208) pP. I think for less than €208, you can probably get those tickets p2p.
