Trenord Tickets say "Not Purchasable" on their website

I know what that means, but I am trying to figure out why it says that. Its for all tickets from Edolo to Verona Italy. Are you only able to walk up and purchase them? Or are they all booked? Some other reason? I tried a few different days, around 30 days out. These are regional trains from what I can see. There appears to be no other trains running from way out there. We are planning on staying in Tirano for a night at the end of the Bernini express and either taxi or bus over to Edolo so we can skip the train ride back to Milan and the extra time it would take to backtrack. But the website has me wondering how it works on that rail line.

I am 100% certain that these trains are not "booked out", as these are regional trains, that are used by people to go about their daily business. So most people will indeed go to the station, buy a ticket, and ride. And if more people board a train then there are free seats some people will have to stand.

So just buy your ticket at the station. You may even be able to already buy it the day before in Tirano.

I suspect there may be some line-maintenance scheduled. There was a lot of that in northern Italy over the last few months. I see routings on the Trenitalia website involving a bus segment during late October, and then on November 1-3 there are all-train routings, but you're back to combo bus/train routings on November 4.
