We were just now standing on the platform at Verona Porta Nuova waiting for our Italo train to Milano Centrale. The lower line of the train board on the platform was running a continuous message about a strike by Trenord Personnel from. 3 am on 30 September until 3 am on October 1.
I couldn’t find any notice of this before, so thought I would post it here.

Malpensa airport webpage is running an alert at the top about the Sept. 30-Oct. 1 Trenord strike ( which affects the Malpensa Express).
But I don’t see anything about Oct. 5. Isn’t that the one that affects “local transport” only, meaning city buses, trams, and metro lines, not regional trains or fast trains?
