Trenitalia site train symbols

Hi, I am seeking some help with the train category symbols on trenitalia's site. I am looking at a train going from Lecce to Rome, train #788, leaves Lecce at 22:28. I cannot find any information about what type of train it is, there is no legend for the category symbols. Does anyone know anything about what type of train this is? Is there some way I can determine if this train has sleeping compartments? Also, where I can find a legend for the symbols for the categories of trains? Thanks!

According to Trenitalia, that is an ICN (IntercityNight) train. There are 1st and 2nd class couchette accommodations. Reservations must be made in Italy.

Update: When Trenitalia shows you the list of trains on the route, select the "radio button" at the right end of the line with train ICN 788. Then select "Detail by selection". You'll see a line with the details (Train #, departure time, accommodations). There are symbols under accommodations and right below a table with "Key of accommodations" and their descriptions (sort of).

I guess "Reservations must be made in Italy" means reservations can only be made in Italy. RailEurope doesn't sell reservations for this train; in fact, they don't even show the train. Or, it could be a general note because some trains run internationally, indicating that reservations must be made for the part of the journey in Italy. I don't speak Italian, so I can't translate it from the Italian side.

Here are some other types of trains:

R = Regionale (slowest and cheapest)

IC = InterCity (a little faster and more expensive)

ES = EuroStar Italia (fastest and most expensive). Fastest of all is the ES-AV (EuroStar Italia Alta Velocita)

Thanks for the reply. It's good to know that the reservation must be made in Italy because it sounds like it's very problematic to make it from the US!
