I have reservations on the fast train from Rome to Salerno. Is a copy of my email confirmation all I will need or do I need to print out a ticket at the train station?

Sue, if you are in possession of a print-out that contains a 6-digit PNR code, that's all you need. You have the ticket. This document should also contain information on the date and time the train departs as well as your seat reservations. The conductor carries a wireless PDA and simply enters your PNR code to check the ticket.

Sue, this article supplements Larry's excellent answer... Trenitalia has much improved their "electronic options" in the past few years.

Thanks. Caught the train yesterday. Much improved process. Freccia trains were on time and convenient.
